Instructions
1. The original research work should be sent to the Editor, Professor P.K.Dutta, Asian Chitin Journal, Department of Chemistry, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad-211 004, India in an attachment file to :

2. The manuscript written in English with American spellings should be typed in single-spaced with wide margin in A-4 size paper format. The length of a full paper should not exceed in general 4000 words. A short communication should not exceed 1500 words.
3. Tables should be numbered, e.g. Table 1, consecutively and titled. All table columns should have an explanatory heading.
4. Figures and line diagrams should be numbered, e.g. Fig.1, consecutively. The Tables and Figures and photographs are to be pasted in the appropriate place of the text.
5. An abstract with keywords of about 150 words comprising a brief account of the contents and conclusions of the paper. An abstract is not required for short communication.
6. The title of the paper (14 font size and rest of the text in 12 font size) or short communication and affiliation should be brief and typed as follows :

7. The contents of the text should be:
ABSTRACT, INTRODUCTION, EXPERIMENTAL, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, REFERENCES and those should be in centre of the text. Any sub-sections should be in the centre, bold but in upper and lower mode, 12 font size with italic. Some flexibility of presentation will be allowed to authors. However, clarity and conciseness in the preparation of manuscript should be practiced.
8. References should be numbered consecutively and cited in appropriate place of the text as superscript and collected together in a reference list (headed References) at the end of the paper.
Journal titles should be abbreviated according to the Chemical Abstracts Service Source Index, and should be typed as shown below: 1.
